• Managing, optimizing, and securing our cloud-based SQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Design and implement scalable and secure SQL database structures in AWS and GCP environments.
• Plan and execute data migration from on-premises or legacy systems to AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and fine-tune queries and indexes for optimal efficiency.
• Implement and manage database security protocols, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and troubleshooting database issues.
• Work closely with developers, DevOps, and data engineers to support application development and deployment.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across distributed systems.
• Keep up with emerging technologies, cloud services, and best practices in database management.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator with expertise in AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL database design, implementation, and optimization.
• Experience with data migration to cloud environments.
• Proficiency in performance monitoring and query optimization.
• Knowledge of database security protocols and compliance regulations.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
